Water’s Edge, Waters Side, and Streamside are our best one-bedroom permier log cabins we have to offer. These are not showrooms from an estate agent brochure. These are the actual log cabin pictures available to rent weekly in season. We believe they have everything a couple would wish for, to relax and enjoy a great countryside holiday.
Prime location, situated behind the Moby Dick Lake, which is only a stone’s throw away, yet backs on the small Railway pool, which has a dedicated peg available for you, if you fancy a dabble outside your back door.
Inside, it’s very spacious in an open plan kitchen and lounges style. The lounge is all new furniture, a large free sat television, DVD player & iPod Docker.
Kitchen enjoys a super oak dining table, gas cooker, microwave, dishwasher amongst other items.
The bedroom has a lovely comfortable king size bed with expensive mattress to ensure guests enjoy a good night’s rest.
Outside, each of our premier log cabins has its own tackle shed and private parking. The new log cabins also enjoy a small garden adjacent to the brook to sit and relax.

Service was brilliant 👏 kPosted on Christian WolstencroftTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Stayed in one of the fisher-cabins. The owner of the complex, Jonathan, i found to be ever willing to help and assist with any queries or requests directly, taking ownership and ensuring all your needs were catered for. Also the staff were friendly and supportive and very approachable. The cabin itself was extremely clean and well presented. The décor is a little dated, but in keeping with the beautiful surroundings Docklow Pools presents. The cabin was lovely and a home from home. Just a couple of niggles: 1. No internet. The complex is on a geographical dip. I could only find ONE BAR on the Three network. The main complex is serviced by a Starlink satellite internet service, but the area where my cabin was, like i say, of the four UK mobile networks, only Three had a service of just one bar. Jonathan was supportive.. he explained that a lot of their customers are men who want to go fishing on be 'off-grid' and 'not contactable'. While i understand that, in today's world one can always turn their phone off - and let their spouse/family know they will be doing this.. so i see no real reason for not supplying an internet connection to the cabins - it was a real pain in the rear for me as i had planned to do some work/study over my stay. Jonathan again kindly offered me an office in the main complex, but that just have worked as lugging all my paraphernalia there and back most days would be unrealistic. In the end i had to purchase (on the advise of someone Jonathan put me in touch with) a router which takes a sim card with screw on antennas. I then had to take out an unlimited data sim contract with Three. Just annoying to have to do in this day and age. 2. Freeview only There was an old Skybox, but the card wasn't recognised and you could only access the free channels. In the end i had to run a HDMI from my laptop, which was connected to the router, to access other channels. Highly recommend Docklow Pools.. great staff, location, accommodation and food... just behind on technology..Posted on Anthony WhitehornTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great pub on site with equally great food. The fishing isn't too bad either. Major bill is the speci lake with fish up to upper 30s and maybe a 40 swimming around. Few other lakes for the pleasure angler. Never really have a bad day's fishing, if there is such a thing.Posted on Clare BrownTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We've stayed number of times and will continue to do so as much as possible. We both absolutely love Dockow for the beautiful peaceful surroundings, excellent fishing and best tackle shop around. The accommodation is fabulous and The Fisherman's Arms amazing, excellent food and the most wonderful friendly staff. Just love it here ❤️Posted on Snoop CatTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
