The Fisherman's Arms

It’s not fancy food, just proper pub grub, done really well. Have a look at Trip advisor as its one of the best places to eat in the county. Our Sunday lunches are the talk of the local area serving all day. Relax in the 17th century bar & restaurant with a wealth beams and character.

Adjoining our bar is the restaurant which also has oak beams, flagstone floor and log fires.

Perfect for that well deserved meal at the end of the day! Relax and choose from our menu of tasty dishes…and you don’t have to do the washing up!

Wi-Fi is free of charge and available throughout The
Fisherman’s Arms. Disabled access at the rear.

sleep

Docklow has a wide range of choice of accommodation to come and enjoy. There are 58 holiday cottages, lodges and Bed & breakfast rooms to choose from.

Predominately we are a weekly holiday business in
season, but offer a small amount of short breaks on certain properties too. Important to note we are an adults only holiday venue, so 18+ years old.

Our best properties are called Premier which mostly our log cabins and some bigger apartments. Our barn conversion places are called Traditional, and mostly found around the courtyard area. There are Fishermen Lodges and Farmhouse B&B options too, so a complete spectrum of alternatives.

fish

We have 11 well established pools all very picturesque
and mature. The largest is the Major Bill which is 7 acres. Plus 4 private river fishing on local rivers such as the River Wye, Teme & Lugg.

All the lakes are available for our residents to enjoy.
With so much water, there is a fishing style for most
anglers. From pole to river trotting. Our biggest fish caught was a 67lb catfish, from the Major Bill. Carp in other lakes go to doubles and maybe early 20’s. One thing we are famous for is the variety of fish in all the lakes. The float goes under and it could be anything. It’s far from carp, carp and more carp.

All the pools have great access and parking. All are close to accommodation too.
