The Farmhouse is a great choice for 1, 2 or 3 people looking to stay on a week or a short break at Docklow Pools.

All the rooms are above the pub, although there are two lodges opposite the Farm House which are classed the same (they are called “Sheep Pen & Dairy”).

The rooms are very comfortable. With two beds, showers, dressing tables, wardrobes and lots of character. Most have oak beams which adds to the feeling that you’re staying in the countryside

It’s important to know the rooms are above the pub, which in truth is not noisy in the slightest. Room 5 is immediately above the bar. As there is no late nights in the pub then this is not a problem.

In the morning, guests can treat themselves to a breakfast of their choice in the Fishermans Arms. All the rooms are on “Room Only” which means the prices have been reduced so guests can buy what they like. This is a great feature for anglers wanting to go to the river early in the morning, where they’ve had to stick around to grab something to eat.

The farmhouse too has WIFI, so each of the five farmhouse rooms have that free facility.

The cheapest accommodation option here at Docklow Pools for either a short break or weekly. Short breaks run Friday to Monday on a min 2 night stay. Weekly breaks work Saturday to Saturday.

Out of season the Farm house can be booked for a minimum stay of 2 nights up until a Sunday morning, avoiding Monday & Tuesdays.

Maximum party size as always is 6.

Guests can stay on a short break in the farmhouse or stay for a week, Saturday to Saturday. Short breaks work Friday to Monday, or mid week Monday to Friday.

Set in the 17th century farmhouse, it offers five bedrooms all with en suite sleeping between 2 & 3 guests. All contain single beds, tea making facilities, ample wardrobe space, Freeview television. Each property including the farmhouse has a fishing tackle lock up and parking immediately outside for convenience.

In 2023 prices have been reduced to previous years as breakfast is not included. Yet now we have a fantastic café guests can have what they like in the morning. It couldn’t be better!

Guests looking to stay on their own can either pay a single supplement or alternatively consider a small cottage such as Cosy Cottage or Mill Cottage.

All rooms are on the 1st floor of the Farm House above the Fisherman’s Arms.
