TRADITIONAL THREE BEDROOM PROPERTIES
We have 58 properties in total, 4 of which have Three bedrooms – they are called Dovecote cottage, Pigsty’s Bungalow, Valley View Bungalow, and the new Stable.
All four are available on a weekly rental, although Dovecote & Stable are also available on a short break scheme.
All four properties allow all male parties to rent them – maximum 3 gents.Â
They are all located near the courtyard, just a few minutes shop the lakes, and restaurant.Â
Pigstys & Valley View are bungalows.
Stable has two bathrooms.
Dovecote cottage is a barn conversion set at the end of three in a 17th century converted stable block. The gable end of the building still has the original dovecote, hence the name and throughout the building are the original oak beams.
On entering Dovecote, you will be drawn to the spacious lounge which houses traditional furnishings and a mass of comfortable seating. Also, a gas fire, large window and colour television, Freeview add to the all-round pleasure of the room.
Just off the lounge is the kitchen. This is well equipped and accommodates an electric cooker, microwave, and fridge. Also in the kitchen is a dining table and chairs which comfortably seat six. Upstairs you will find three bedrooms, olde world furniture and beautiful beams. Just off the landing is the bathroom with shower, basin and WC.
Dovecote Cottage is a property we will consider short breaks on.
We expect all our cottages to be looked after by our guests and cleaned before returning the key.

Stable cottage was our new 3-bedroom cottage for the summer of 2022. We have joined the old Appletree and Stable cottages together to make one new fantastic 3 x bedroom cottage with 2 x bathrooms It is a very comfortable cottage set in a converted stable and barn. Described in our ‘Traditional’ range, they are favourites amongst some of the staff who work at Docklow. They boast lots of country character which is very popular when in the countryside. The kitchens are very spacious with all amenities including electric cooker, fridge, and microwave.
Stable cottage is in the private mews by the garden at Docklow, close to the courtyard area, near to the tackle shop, restaurant and literally a minute or so’s walk to the lakes. All have close by parking and their own tackle lock ups.

Thank you.xxPosted on Ivan IvanovTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Lovely place with good fishing pools . The only downside is that there wasn't ice-cream in the restaurant ;) but not a deal breaker 😉.Posted on Brian HynesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have visited Docklow Pools many times and it is always brilliant. Due to go again on 20th June for a week. Although I booked a ticket on Major Bill pool unfortunately I was unable to do any fishing on my last trip. Enduring Stage 4 cancer for the past 5 years the trial drug Adagrasib is keeping me stable but not cured. Side effects are total exhaustion amongst various others. Sitting on a fishing chair has not been an option for me. I hope to give it a go in June. Looking on the bright side I am still here and the lads are looking forward to my cooking. Where do I start, what a place this is a fishermans heaven, the place is pristine and the lakes are extremely looked after with a massive range to fish for literally covers for everything you could go for. The venue has the most amazing, helpful staff you could ever meet a big shout out for o'darie (hope i spelt your name right) what an absolute merit she is to this company and an amazing host and also the other team members we talked to, they all make you feel welcome and willing to go the extra mile. And 5* to the chef the food was amazing good old fashioned homey food. Me and my brother will certainly be returning very soon thankyou all for giving us an amazing weekend of memories.Posted on eirlys jonesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
