Our bread and butter will always be weekly holidays here at Docklow Pools, yet you’ll find a fine selection of our properties available for short breaks in peak season.

We have options for Log cabins for couples staying in BlueBell or Brookside.

Certain properties we keep for couples only, so to ensure we have a good balance of people on site.

Pet friendly option is the fabulous “Honeysuckle”

Off season is a different arrangement naturally in terms of prices and options…

This is a very popular scheme and sells out very early to returning guests. More options and value per night apply to weekly sales.

For 3 people where Dovecote or Stable has already been sold, there are options to have other properties.

Short Breaks Information

Inclusive of single / double rod pleasure fishing
- That covers Lakes excluding the Major Bill and the Docklow River stretches.
- Major Bill available at extra cost
Guests staying on a short break pay a higher highly rate than a short break
- A week gives you more choice and is cheaper per night even with the fishing
Everyone pays for fishing at Docklow Pools.

Short breaks are normally available in the off peak season after our Championships (from Mid-October) until weekend before Easter (Or 1st weekend of April) minimum 2 nights, unless Easter moves into March, which of course would be a different arrangement.
The Major Bill lake is available – charged like a weekly stay.

April – 29th March to 26th April 2025

Everything is available on either a month lease, or short break, because of the time of the year.

Easter Weekend

All properties are available on a min 3 night break. It’s a unique weekend with the extended bank holiday.

Weekly holidays and short breaks are available over Easter.

All Breaks from May to September have heating included.

Out of Season Breaks

We are closed over the Christmas Period. But open from 28th December usually.

A large majority of properties are rented on a 6 month lease from October to March .

We are Closed 24th to 28th December for Christmas. Peak season is 1st April to 1st Saturday of October. Throw a line out, catch quality fish of various species and then enjoy a meal on the evening… Bliss!
