In the past we've only been weekly bookings only for holidays especially in the peak months of the year. From Spring 2011 we're pleased to announce that we are making four traditional cottages available for "couples" to come and enjoy a long weekends or mid week at Docklow in the beautiful countryside.

Predominately we're staying weekly bookings, as that is where the demand and popularity certain is, yet we've been open to listen to our guests, so have reacted to their requests.

To make this pay the minimum stay is 3 nights. That can be - Friday, Saturday and Sunday etc. We arent offering 2 night options in peak season. Peak season is June to September 15th.

What a fantastic way to get away from it all and trip down to Britains favourite and possibly the most beautiful fishery, get some peace and quiet. Throw a line out, catch quality fish of various species and then enjoy a meal on the evening?....bliss!

• The Three Cottages and Three apartments available for weekends are: Gone Fishing, Dovecote, Willow, Stable are Barn conversion cottages and the first floor apartments are Treetops and Heron Heights
• Gone Fishing apartment is within the Premier range. The others are all Traditional properties - Ideal for short breaks
• All other Premier Properties are weekly bookings in advance 
• No other cottages will be considered for weekends from 1st May to 1st October, only those stated above and below 
• Minimum stay is 3 nights of your choice - subject to availability. 2 Night stay is shown for closed season breaks 
• Adults only as always - 18 years old +
• Because of the demand for weekly bookings we might not always be able to offer weekends, just mid week bookings in the months of June & July. 
• All male parties consider Stable or Willow cottages only. (Gone Fishing, Treetops and Dovecote = couples only) 
• Bed & Breakfast short breaks for male parties (max 6) is from 10th October 2011 through to 10 April 2012 only 
• Cottages are non pet friendly
• Prices include gas (from 1st April to 1st October only).  
• Prices are per cottage not per person and Includes 20% Vat.
• Prices are as stated - We dont do "deals" so please dont ask concessions or discount.
• Breakfasts are available upon request
• Office is closed on Sundays, so arrival needs to be in the week between 9 and 5pm or Saturday until 3pm.
• Willow cottage - we'll consider single occupancy breaks for a gentlemen. Again price is as stated
• Maximum male party May to September is 2 on short breaks, 6 on weekly bookings

Please Note:

• Weekly prices same as 2010.
• Nightly Prices correct as of 4th April 2012
• Three night is the minimum stay from May to September - although weekly bookings preferred. Two night option shown for off peak
• Price includes fishing for 1 people on a single rod basis.
• Extra anglers or double rod tickets (Major Bill specimen pool) maybe available subject to pool availability. Please check before booking. Priority for Major Bill will always be with weekly guests and members. Call Jonathan on 01568760256 to confirm
• Extra rods or anglers are £5 a day. To Fish Major Bill Pool is £10 a day 
• We have no pet friendly accomodation available for short breaks or weekends
• All accomodation is adults only - 18 years +
• All prices in include 20% VAT
• All bookings must be paid in full within 10 days of arranging either by cheque or debit card only
