Our biggest lake, approx 7 acres with a large island in the middle. A beautiful pool, trees all the way round with just 20 carp pegs. 

For the bivvy boys among you catfish over 50lbs. Mirrors, commons and grass carp up to and over the mid twentys and plenty of doubles. Not an easy lake but rewards are there if you are prepared to put the time in. Grass carp up to 30lbs, plenty of cats growing and plenty of doubles....

There are no day tickets on the Major Bill.

The Major Bill is available to residents (caravaners must be members), and members. Double Rod ticket holders and over 18yrs only. Please see rules page for further specifics

There are just 40 paid up Members for the Major Bill, with a 4 year waiting list. To apply for the waiting list you must be known to us, but will manage expectations, space becoming available are few and far between.

A weekly ticket for the lake (Monday to Friday only - no weekends) is available through the office, docklowpools@hotmail.com when the pool is quieter in early Spring and Autumn. The weekly ticket is not available now in the summer, as our paying guests come first.
